Having made some progress in Tryton usage, I’m now trying to master SEPA payments.
I set up as follows:
own bank and IBAN
receiver IBANs
modules trytond-account-payment-sepa and trytond-account-payment-sepa-cfonb installed
sequence SEPA mandate existing
payment journal existing
invoices are posted
But under finance > payments > open positions I can only find incoming, but no outgoing invoices. AFAIR (but I’m not really sure), at v7.0 that worked, it may have been vanished since then.
What could be the reason? - Could it be that v8.0 has requirements I’m not aware of?
If for open positions you mean Lines to Pay, you need to set a maturity date and use a receivable account on the invoice to show the payments there.
When using account_payment_sepa module there is an extra tab named Lines to pay with mandate. ON this tab you will see all the receivable lines for parties which have a validated mandate, which is required in order to process the payments with sepa journal. You must create a mandate for the party indicating the bank account to user for the process and validate it.
Just to clarify: Mandates are only required for customer invoices.
For supplier invoices you just need to use a payable account and set a maturity date.
Actually, recent invoices lacked maturity date. So now with new invoices, I set that date before posting, but still they don’t show up in finance > payments > open positions.
