The announces mailing list started today at 18h to sent emails for all the existing news and releases.
Due to an update on the server (new Python version), the environment of the announce service has been rebuild. But in the process the rss2email database has been wiped out.
I stopped the sending of email as soon as I detected the problem but many of you must have already received hundred of emails. Sorry for that 
but you can ignore all those emails (no releases or announcement has been made today).
In order to avoid such mistakes in the future, the tweet bot has received its own virtualenv separated from the rss2email. So it can be rebuild without risks as no data is stored anymore in it.
