Currently tryton has a situation journal that is useful for only mandatory situations (real fiscal year end and obligatory quarterly/semester reports) but not for optional ones like us (and the vast majority of SMEs).
In comparing with some other major accounting packages, it appears that probably the only thing that needs to be done is to add the possibility for a situation journal to block posting of movements and reconciliation of lines issued from other than such a journal.
We’re going to try this, is there anybody else interested that may have other requirements?
