Good day

Can recurring sales and purchase transactions be setup in Tryton? E.g

Some transaction will reoccur daily, some weekly, others monthly etc.

You can create a move template to quickly encode the predefined transaction.
For sale indeed it is a subscription.

I wanted to create a move template, but cannot remember the syntax in the “amount” box. It needs to be surrounded by {braces} - but how do I insert a formular there, and do I need to place an “equals” (=) ?

All attempts on my own failed.

It is just standard python syntax like: amount * 0.1.
You can find example in the scenario.

Thank you, Cédric. Ah, my mistake was I didnt leave spaces between variable names and operators. They seem to be crucial.

Yet another question on this:
At the moment, I just punch in something like “1.16” for 16% VAT. As we’re expecting a VAT change at the end of the year, it might be smarter to use a variable for VAT. How could I obtain that?

You can not. If you worry about that you must use invoices to book transactions.
