How to get user access for translation

Hi everyone,

My apologies in advance if this question is not in the right place or category—I’m new here. I would like to contribute to the Serbian translation, so I’m interested in whom I should contact to get user permissions on the Tryton Weblate platform.

I have already posted an issue on Heptapod regarding the translations, so I hope I will get the right instructions.

Thank you very much in advance!

Best regards,

Milan

The questions have been answered on Adding Serbian language translation (#2) · Issues · Tryton / Translations · GitLab.

PS: in future, it is better to avoid to post on multiple places, thanks.

Thank you so much for answer and permissions.
I just have one more question.

May I clone repo https://foss.heptapod.net/tryton/translations/-/tree/branch/default?ref_type=heads and push with translations back to Tryton repo or I must do all translations on Tryton Weblate ?

I am asking because I found sr.po files at this repo and I can do it faster then from Weblate.

Sorry maybe is stupid question but I am new here and I am trying to figure out how all things works.

No you must use weblate.
But weblate provides automatic and similar suggestion and many checks.

I found solutions on TW. Will start soon with it. Thanks for help.

Weblate allows to upload translation files. I use this feature if I translate some strings directly in Tryton while checking the translation in the client. Still probably best to use the weblate interface for translating.

Thank you. I saw it. I didn’t used to work on Weblate before, but I explote yesterdays I found solutions. Does it translations appears in heptapod repo automatically when it’s finished in Weblate or someone has to approve it?

It is exported automatically.
