Currency symbol position for italian language

Hi,

Wondering why default position for currency symbol is different for Italian language ?

I asked Gemini:

In Italy, the euro symbol (€) typically goes after the number, often with a space in between.

For example, you would write:

  • 10 €*
  • 25,50 €*
  • 100 €*

This follows the convention used for the previous Italian currency, the lira, where the symbol also appeared after the amount.

Is there another convention defining currency symbol precedes for Italian language ?

This comes from https://www.gnu.org/software/libc/

But after checking there was a mistake: Do not precede negative currency symbol in Italian (!2335) · Merge requests · Tryton / Tryton · GitLab

And it should precede for the positive currency ?

This is not the configuration of glibc.
