Sponsoring UBL Invoice-2

Proposal

In Europe many countries start to require to send e-invoice.
Many countries have chosen UBL format as standard (or one of the standard). For example many Peppol service providers are based on UBL.

We propose to write a module edocument_ubl to generate UBL Invoice-2 file for the customer invoices (like edocument_uncefact does for UN/CEFACT).
And a second module document_incoming_ubl to create supplier invoice based on UBL Invoice-2 file.

The coverage will be restricted to the minimum required by the standard and to the concepts already present in Tryton.
The version will be 2.3 but we will try to be as much flexible to support any version as incoming document.

This will be the base to Add support for Peppol (but service providers connection is not included in this proposal)

Budget

We have estimated the effort to 6 days of development.
For B2CK this means a budget of 3000€ (without VAT).
The budget will be divided in equal parts between the contributors.
Contributors may add an upper limit (minimum: 200€) to their contribution in case there are not enough contributors. For that they will just need to post a message with their limit (so others may anticipate their costs).

Hi Cedric,
m-ds have a module for exporting XRechnung. Is it neccesery to program another module with the same function?

It is necessary to have a standard module.

I wonder wether m-ds did (or will) publish this existing module and whether it could be integrated into Tryton as a standard module.

For the Belgian contributors, there are some measures that could apply to their contribution, see Structured electronic invoices between companies will become compulsory as from 2026 | FPS Finance

For contributors that are not yet B2CK’s customer, can you send me in PM your information for the invoice (address, VAT number etc.).
Thanks.

@bizcom-it and @JeffAston I’m still missing your invoice information?
