Custom Access Group

I create a new Group in the portal, then I want to assign a User-Interface Menu to it, but I got below error:

You are not allowed to write to records "92" of "Ui Menu" because of at least one of these rules:
User in groups
Within groups: Administration, Currency Administration, Party Administration, Company Administration, Employee Administration, Leave Administration, Leave User, Management Administration, Project Administration, Project User, Timesheet Administration, Timesheet User, Claim Administration, Claim User

What could possibly the cause of this?

I think the error message is pretty clear. You are not allowed to write on the record.
I guess you are not in the new group you created and for which you restricted access to the menu entry.

But I did this as the super admin.. I thought super admin has access to all.

There is no super admin.

Hi, the admin user is like all the other users, it has access to all, because it is added to all groups, so if you create a new group, and you don’t add the admin user, it won’t have the group permissions.

btw this is almost the same: Hide Menu for a user so maybe you get something from there.
