Which ssl port does tryton listen to? Can it be changed? in what file/files?

Will appreciate your help.

trytond listens to the port define on [web] listen configuration.

So it listens to both plain and ssl connections on the same port.

No never, trytond does or does not do SSL.

Sorry but your answer is not clear to me.
Does that mean that tryton/sao could be connected only on http://8000 and no https:// connection possible?

No it means that the trytond serves either in plain HTTP or either with SSL but never boths.
