In South Africa we have taxes, but every project we define a chart of accounts per business requirements. There are minimum information required per legislation but not a predefined chart defines in ZA legislation.
THen you can create a module which includes the taxes and the accounts that all of the bussiness have in common.
If this minimum information is structured in an account chart and reports. I will probably use it for base accounting.
It will be great to add a proposal to add a generic chart of accounts for South Africa as part of Tryton base modules.
Does a South African chart of accounts exist on Tryton?
I don’t know of any chart of accounts for South Africa. If there is some general template which could be used, we can assist you to create one.
Also an exported chart of accounts from another application can be useful, if its license allows a re-use under terms of GPL-3.
