Showing the menu as grid

Hi,

I was reviewing an old post about dashboard module and specially the possibility to show menu as grid, maybe has been any advance?

There has been no advance on the dashboard feature.
Why are you proposing to show the menu as grid? Which benefits will bring this feature?

Some of my end users has asked me about the possibility to have less options and other doesn’t like the left menu, the most part of time has been invisible.

The possibility to have the option to select left menu or menu as grid will bring a less options (only the dashboard selected) and give a more traditional feel like desktop experience.

The most part of the time, the end user only need less that 10 options to work.

THen I will create the needed access rules for each user to use this 10 options.

Or use the favorites feature to opening them from the bookmark list.
