Hello fellow Trytonies,
I feel a little stupid - but I could not find out how to create data for sales development of one specific product with one specific customer.
Actual: I have one product called “commission”, which I charge quarterly - and would like to see the development over time.
How can I do this?
When you are on a party form, in the lower part of the form you will have an icon to open its sales lines.
Also you can access it using the relate button. See:
You can achieve the same from the product relate. You can open all the sale lines (of all customers) of the commission product. From there it will be also possible to filter just the sales of a specific product using the standard filter feature.
Wow, this is a gem. Thank you so much, grand master @pokoli .
But how sad, that (I guess) Tryton is full of gems - and not even a handful of people know about them.
Wolf, make a test database and play with it, explore, click on every button there is and see what happens.
BTW, a real gem is the ability to relate from multiple records at the same time!
It took me more than 2 years of using Tryton to discover this, and it completely changed many of my work-flows.
