In draft there are no components so they are updated when quoted.
In other case, changing the components is like changing the product kit so you just have to change the product for itself by setting quantity to minimal and add a new line with the remainder quantity.
In the amendments of sale it is possible to add a line to the sale?
No you just make a new sale with the line.
