How to open a fiscal period?
I have a fiscal period that started from 2021-2024 and opened the periods for that period.
But when renewing it to 2025 - 2028 with the wizard, the Journal - Periods of the corresponding years are not created.
The Journal - Period records are created automatically when a move is posted for the journal and the period.
The renew fiscal year wizard creates only a new Fiscal Year and the corresponding Periods.
If I open Journals - Periods, the periods that were created when renewing do not appear. And when I try to record an invoice, I get
To post invoice 5031 you must define a period for the date.
Period and “Journal - Period” are not the same thing.
This means that there is no “Period” for the accounting date of the invoice.
The period exists and is open, but can not post and invoice.
The date on fiscal year was wrong, is my error.
After update it correctly, It works well now.
