Remove Kit components for Sale

Hi,

Is there a way to deal with the following scenario: A sale contains a product kit, but the customer does not need e.g. some accessory part that is in the kit. I would like to still have the kit listed in the sale but add a custom line with some discount that mentions this part is removed from the kit.
The second part works, the only question would be, is it possible to remove some components from the generated stock moves and shipping or is there a better way to deal with this?

The sale will try to ship all the component of the kit until you cancel the stock move and ignore it for recreation.
But I do not think it is an ideal workflow as it is not error prone. It is probably better to create a new kit or just sale each component individually.

Also creating a discount line will break the margin report on the kit because the system can not know it is related to it. So it is always better to modify the price of the line directly.
