We planned to migrate the main server of Tryton to a new host on March 26th 2021 at 19:00 CET.
This requires to shutdown the server in order to copy the full system to the new server.
We estimate that this transfer will take about 2 hours. But downloads and video data will be transferred later which is estimated to take 4 more hours.
The IP address of the new server will be different than the current one (we will communicate them once it is up). So in addition to the downtime there will be some delay due to DNS propagation, the perturbation should not last longer than 24h.
The affected services are:
- bugs.tryton.org
- downloads.tryton.org
- demo.tryton.org
- translate.tryton.org
- mailing lists
- hg.tryton.org
- goocalendar.tryton.org
- relatorio.tryton.org
- python-sql.tryton.org
- SMTP
We will keep you up to date on this thread and on @TrytonSoftware.
This migration will provide a more powerful server (2 times more cores) and RAID1 on disks.
