How to connect database with tryton server

trytond-admin -d -p

You need to provide the value for -d (database).
So you need to run somethink like:
trytond-admin -d tryton -p

I’m able to connect database with desktop client, one more question i want to use account, bank, Product invoice ,sale…etc how to use these modules ,i have clicked mark for activatation then it is showing “to be activated” but its not activated ,please help here

You must run the wizard “Perform Pending Activation/Upgrade”.
Or you must activate them using the trytond-admin command line, see How to setup a database — Tryton server
