I suppose we will have to wait for the Spanish Tax Agency to simplify tax rules in order to get covered by the Tryton standard.
Or for once the Spanish developers make a correct proposal of evolution instead of making a partially working hack.
The fact that you did not know any other country with similar requirements does not mean that it does not exist.
Even I see its not just Spain but its allowed in any European Country, see:
Specially point 6 which I quote here:
5. My business operates as several separate business units or divisions. Is it possible for each unit or division to operate its own sequence of invoices?
Yes, it is acceptable to operate more than one sequence at the same time.
Following your example of the WebShop, it should be possible to use a different numbering for the webshop and use a diferent sequence for services invoiced manually.
This is specially usefull with the requirement that invoices should be consecutive and when there is a delay between the invoice date and the invoice creation. Following the example if you do not use a different sequence, it wonât be possible to create an invoice in the past when an automatic invoice for the webshop had been created.
P.S: I did a quick search on the net and it seems that most of the ERPs allow such behaviour. I found for example Odoo, SAP, Dynamics 365
I asked B2CK to provide a solution for this problem two years ago but did not find any solution for it. If you are intersted on working on it feel free to send me a quotation for the work and we will evaluate to fund it.
Or even better, just create a Sponsoring topic for it and I bet the spanish community will fund it if its reasonable.
This is absolutely not the topic.
Again this is not the topic.
I do not see why Tryton should support something that is not needed.
This is not a requirement.
So what are we talking about?
Again, the fact that you did not need or did not found anybody that needs it does not prove it is not needed. See the Raven paradox.
Even, if we are discussing it here is because this is something used:
Please read the title and the content of the topic.
I do not need your patronizing.
This sentence means nothing.
That module was not designed to solve that problem but to allow having several sequences based on other criterias: frequently the company needs to have a sequence for the daily invoices and another one for the monthly ones, for example.
