It looks like you can send email.
Yes, you can send email from Tryton but it’s not and won’t be a fully featured email client. It’s perfectly capable to send invoices, marketing material or notifications by email, but that’s it. You cannot reply or something like that.
To something with inbound email, some people have created modules to read from an IMAP emailbox (NaN-tic · GitHub), but you can also look at Milter - Wikipedia together with Python Milters you can read the incoming email and store it in Tryton instead of in a mailbox.
