Hi All…
I’m so Happy see you agin…
I’m New in gentoo and very interested andI Want try to Tryton in gentoo…
my machine is Pentium Dual G620 2.6 ghz Intel and 4 GB Ram & 500 GB H.D.D & Graphic Adapter is Radeon…
I Want to Develop and Run only Tryton + Postgresql-Server in this system…
so can anybody Help me to Best Configuration USE Flags and Chose Best Config For my Kernel Compiling and… Please…

There is nothing special required from the kernel to run Tryton.
As you want to use with PostgreSQL (which is recommended) you must activate the postgres use flag for app-office/trytond (it is activated by default). Otherwise other use flags are really optional and depend if you want to have the corresponding feature activated or not.

dear cedric thanks for answering…
but my mend is select best environment to good develop tryton in best stage tarball and profile and others…
for example i had install stage 3 amd64 hardened… but i’m not sure this is best for Develop tryton…
You and other developer friends have experience working with Gentoo…may have some advice for choosing the best work environment for tryton…

The best environment to develop with Tryton is the one you already know and feel comfortable with.

how i can fix this :
!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy “trytond” have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complet your request :

  • app-office/trytond-5.8.2::tryton (masked by: ~amd64 keyword)
  • app-office/trytond-5.6.11::tryton (masked by: ~amd64 keyword)
  • app-office/trytond-5.4.20::tryton (masked by: ~amd64 keyword)

I think you did not run correctly the fourth step of installation.

with etc-update solved… and install trytond…

I think the first step of wiki page also needs to be updated:
emerge --ask dev-db/postgresql
…
and in Fourth step, after dispatch-conf need to etc-update To rewrite Portage Config Files… and finaly emerge --ask trytond tryton sao…

After install tryton on gentoo " /etc/trytond " and " trytond.conf " not created by install process. this is normal? or Must be manually create?

Yes it must be created manually for now. I think I will add a minimal one.
