Asset and depreciation by cost center, analytic

Rational:
Assets may relate to cost center(s)/analytic.

Proposal:

  1. Add an analytic property to assets.
  2. Depreciation lines should be automatically (or by option?) inherit this property while creating those lines by using the asset depreciation wizard.

What you describe is already implemented in analytic_invoice module. Maybe you do not have such module activated?
