The latest versions of discourse have now the Chat integrated. I’m wondering if we should activate it or not? Maybe it is redundant with IRC but it offers offline persistence for example.
Also if we activate it with which setup? Should we keep increase the default retention? Which channel should we create?
I activated the chat for testing with retention for ever and I create some chats with some have recent active user joined.
