# When using docker, the client IP address is the docker parent IP address

Hi,
If using docker to run trytond, the client IP address to show on the logs will be always the machine which host the docker.
Is there any way to get the original IP address from the client?

You must configure the [number of proxies](https://docs.tryton.org/projects/server/en/latest/topics/configuration.html#num-proxies). But your proxy must correctly set `X-Forwarded-` headers.
