During the last month we focused on fixing bugs, improving the behaviour of things, speeding-up performance issues - building on the changes from [our last release](https://discuss.tryton.org/t/tryton-release-7-8/). We also added some new features which we would like to introduce to you in this newsletter.

## Changes for the User
### Sales, Purchases and Projects
Now we add the [support for the _pick-up delivery method_ from Shopify](https://bugs.tryton.org/14581).
We now [add a _number_ field to the project work efforts, based on a default sequence](https://bugs.tryton.org/14671).
Now we [use the party lang functionality to set the language for the taxes and and chats](https://code.tryton.org/tryton/-/commit/c0625ed0d3bbce798479ba45977d807f1bdd2df0).
We now [add support for gift card products on Shopify](https://bugs.tryton.org/14417).
We now [add a field that indicates if an invoice is sent via Peppol](https://bugs.tryton.org/14651) to help on filtering.

### Accounting, Invoicing and Payments
Now we [set the _related-to_ field of an _account statement line_ to `invoice`](https://foss.heptapod.net/tryton/tryton/-/merge_requests/3157) when the statement line overpays an invoice.
We now [filter the _MIME-type_ of the additional documents in UBL to the ones which are allowed by the specification](https://bugs.tryton.org/14708).
Now we [forbid a zero amount in _draft_ state and also _processing_ state for manual payments](https://bugs.tryton.org/14670).

Now we [strip the user field from white-space characters in the login window](https://bugs.tryton.org/13898).
We now [add a new right drop-down menu in SAO, including _Logout_ and _Help_ menu items](https://bugs.tryton.org/14151).
Now we [add a visual hint on widgets of modified fields](https://bugs.tryton.org/14613).
## New Modules
We now [support the common European requirements for excise products](https://code.tryton.org/tryton/-/commit/135b2deba12f75e4852e7bb87958484c05ff8c3c).
Now we [add the `sale_project_task` module](https://code.tryton.org/tryton/-/commit/f81dbbc1f34731269bd5014b996124a49c89df0a?merge_request_iid=3074) which creates tasks for services sold.
Now we [add the `account_payment_check` module](https://code.tryton.org/tryton/-/commit/24c543face12a80343d640b18c808baff6f8cf6d) which manages and prints checks.
## New Releases
We released bug fixes for the currently maintained [long term support series](https://discuss.tryton.org/t/release-process/395) [7.0](https://code.tryton.org/tryton/-/commits/branch/7.0) and [6.0](https://code.tryton.org/tryton/-/commits/branch/6.0), and for the penultimate series [7.8](https://code.tryton.org/tryton/-/commits/branch/7.8) and [7.6](https://code.tryton.org/tryton/-/commits/branch/7.6).
## Security
Please update your systems to take care of a security related bug we found last month.
## Changes for the System Administrator
We now [use cookies to store authentication informations in Sao](https://bugs.tryton.org/14412).
Now we [order the cron logs by descending ID](https://code.tryton.org/tryton/-/commit/4d15f132eb365eb172d935c1c80306e66d3b2bb2) to show the last cron-runs first.

Cédric (@ced), merci d’avoir été patient avec moi (je sais que je n’ai pas toujours été à l’écoute), et merci de ne pas m’avoir lâché (malgré mes entêtements, qu’ils soient fonctionnels ou techniques, dus à ma mauvaise compréhension du modèle Tryton et de l’_accounting_, ainsi qu’à ma méconnaissance initiale des droits d’accises et de la comptabilité matières alcools).
