# Store data in files. Where?

Where and how you would recommend storing data as files (I will download some, based on field’s data)? What path?
I don’t want to store 4-5Mb data files in PostgreSQL tables.
I am developing a web-based Tryton in docker.

You can use the `Binary` field with a [`file_id`](https://docs.tryton.org/projects/server/en/latest/ref/models/fields.html#trytond.model.fields.Binary.file_id). This way the content will be stored in [`[database] path`](https://docs.tryton.org/projects/server/en/latest/topics/configuration.html#path).
