Hi,

I’m interested in developing an ERP for my company with Tryton. But it seems the Tryton framework is baed on Python 2, which will retire within a month. I’m wondering if Tryton still be able to use under Python 2 or it;s moving to Python 3 as well.

Thanks,

Melvin

All currently supported versions (\>=5.0) of Tryton are Python 3 only.
Tryton supports Python 3 since 4.0 on 2016-05-02.

Awesome! Maybe it’d be great to have the tutorial guide updated [https://tryton-documentation.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation\_configuration/quick\_install.html](https://tryton-documentation.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation_configuration/quick_install.html)

It is not the official documentation.
It seems it is own by [Sharoon Thomas](https://readthedocs.org/profiles/sharoonthomas/), it will be good to ask him to remove it or at least to display an “out dated” warning.
