# How to delete chart account plan?

Hi there,

i am a Tryton newbie and just installed the app and while trying to define a fiscal year installed the Chart of accounts SKR03 twice. So it shows up two times now in -\>Financial → General Account → Account Types.  
How can i delete one of the two?

Hi,

I’m sorry to say there is no option to delete a chart of accounts. We added a warning when creating a chart of accounts if another exists to prevent such mistakes.

The only option is to delete the duplicated records manually on the database or to delete it and recreate from scratch.

Then I’ll propably start a new installation from scratch.
