# Company error when creating a product template

Hi,  
how do I get around the error message on Product Template? A value is required for field “Company” in “1” of “Product List Price”

It seems the problem is related that your user is not related to any company in the system.  
You should check your user preferences that there is a company set.  
Once you set it, you should be able to set prices for products.
