# Can not login using desktop client

Hi,

I have installed Tryton using docker and I have a server running that i can connect to in a webbrowser.

When I try to connect with the desktop client I get could not connect to the server.

Can someone tell me what makes the differences?

The desktop client by default uses the `8000` port.  
The web client uses the `443` port for https.

Probably you are just missing to set the right port on the client. Conecting using `tryton.178.104.137.112.sslip.io:433` should work.

Note that I just added `:443` to your server address to let the desktop client know that the connection should be done using the https port.
