I have a problem similar to [this one](https://discuss.tryton.org/t/configure-a-monthlys-sale-subscription-in-advance/2315) and I would like to understand what I’m doing wrong in this case.

This is the sale subscription:

- Start date: 16/11/2020
- Start invoice date: 06/11/2020
- Invoice Recurrence: monthly
  - interval: 1
  - day of month: -10

- Line:
  - Recurrence: yearly
    - Interval: 1

  - Start date: 16/11/2020
  - Delayed consumption: -1W 4d

- Dates obtained:
  - **next invoice date: 21/11/2020**
  - next consumption date delayed: 05/11/2020

- Dates expected:
  - **next invoice date: 06/11/2020**
  - next consumption date delayed: 05/11/2020

Why I don’t get the expected next invoice date?

The day of month is not related to the start date. It is 10 days before the end of the month that you configured.
If you want to invoice the same day of the month than the start date, I guess you can leave the recurrence day empty.

I want to invoice 10 days before the end of the month except for the first invoice that I expect on 06/11/2020 as I set in the start invoice date.

There is no exception for the first invoice.
